pMachine Version 2.3 is a free update for all existing users.
Version 2.3 delivers the following new features and enhancements:
- Trackback support
- Pingback support
- Search-engine friendly URLs
In addition, pMachine Pro adds the following new features:
- RSS Factory. You can now create multiple RSS feeds, in any one of the
four RSS standards. Each feed can include any combination of weblogs.
- Mailinglist improvements. The entire mail handling system was rewritten
from the ground up. It now supports multiple mailing lists, mail caching,
email importing, HTML email, word-wrapping and priorities. In addition, you
can now send email using three different mail protocols (Sendmail, SMTP, and
Mail). The mailing list system now has a batch mode, allowing very large
mailing lists to be managed.
In addition, version 2.3 has some security enhancements and a number of bug
fixes, so you are encouraged to upgrade.
